Grounds for Immediate Termination of Appointment

At Human Remedial Services, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for certain offenses that compromise our values, mission, and the well-being of our clients and staff. The following offenses will result in immediate termination of appointment:

2. Theft or MisappropriationTheft of company property, assets, or confidential information
3. Physical or Sexual AssaultPhysical violence, sexual harassment, or assault against colleagues, clients, or associates
4. Substance AbuseUse or possession of illegal drugs/alcohol during work hours or being under the influence
5. Gross MisconductBehavior that severely harms the organization’s reputation or breaches confidentiality/client trust
6. Discrimination or HarassmentDiscrimination or harassment based on protected characteristics
7. Breach of Security or ConfidentialityUnauthorized access to or disclosure of sensitive information
8. Criminal ConvictionsConviction of a crime relevant to job duties or affecting trust/integrity
9. Violation of Safety ProtocolsWillful ignoring or violation of safety protocols, leading to serious risk/harm
10. Conflict of Interest and CorruptionEngaging in conflicts of interest, accepting bribes/kickbacks, or corrupt practices
